One Sweet World

Welcome to our blog NeNee and Papa! This is a post for you to help you move around our blog and enjoy it more. If everyone else reads this to the end they'll end up learning a thing or two as well. We'll break this down in sections that read like answers to questions. Here goes:

What's a blog?

Blog is short for weblog (or so I'm told). We use this one as a family newsletter of sorts. Many of our friends also have blogs and I think they are the most interesting thing on the internet.

Why do you call it One Sweet World?

One Sweet World is the name of a song by a musical group called the Dave Matthews Band. The reason we called it this is because it reminds us of a trip we took to Bermuda some time ago. That's a good memory and this blog was meant to document those good memories so it seems to make sense.

What will I find here?

Hopefully, you'll find regular updates about what's going on in our lives. Additionally, you may find posts about cool stuff we've seen or observations we've made.

Who writes this stuff?

Stephanie and I do. You can tell who has written each post because it will say by Stephanie or by ezeier (I have no idea why mine is that way but I'm too lazy to find out or change it). Also, each post is time stamped but the time is usually wrong (another thing we can't figure out). The titles to most of my (Scott's) posts are the title or lyrics of a song and I usually post a link to that song somewhere near the bottom of that post.

What else?

There are links in some posts and all around the site that provide extra context to the posts or are just cool things you can check out if you want. They are either highlighted or underlined (sometimes both). All you have to do is click on them. When you do click on those links it will navigate you away from the page. To go back, simply press the back button (the back arrow at the top left of your browser). You can do the same thing with any of the pictures on the page. If you click on the pictures they will become much larger and easier to see. Also, you can use these links to navigate to older sections of the blog.

This is all of us at our family Christmas dinner.

We also post videos on the site. Some are of Lukas, some are of stuff that we think is cool. These will look like pictures with a play icon in the middle of the picture. Simply click and the video will play. Most are from a website called youtube (note the link).
